This is a historical area related to some of past projects and Client Companies. Many companies have changed their names due to modifications of the corporate structure, buyouts and sell offs. A few of the company no longer exist in the same type of business and other do not exist at all except in the paper / history realm.

The table on the side bar has links to some of the projects that we have developed into products, plans and standardized procedures over the last 30 years. Each description highlights just a few of the details that are included in the overall project. A drive to maintain brevity and more importantly confidentiality has kept many of the details exceptionally brief. An internet search on select items will result in a substantial amount of current information on select items.

A variety of typical "form - fit - function" projects are included in the appropriate area. The projects have satisfied the specifications of each client's immediate requirements as written in the appropriate company standards and documented in the project scope. More information or specific details on each client based project can requested and responded to in a "scope of work analysis" or "evaluation" setting that will not expose any proprietary information, trade secrets or a breach in any confidentiality agreement. Some clients are listed twice because the work produced for them overlapped into multiple disciplines which the normal case for actual project work.

Design Engineering

Design engineers perform and manage the design of facilities ranging from small pilot plants / products to large, production plant layouts and processes. Their work focuses on the detail design of mechanical equipment, pressure vessels, foundation and structural systems, piping systems, electrical systems and instrumentation.

Based on process design work, mechanical engineers design and specify major process equipment for purchase, as well as design process piping systems to interconnect this equipment.

Electrical engineers design electrical power systems and then specify electrical equipment such as motor, switchgear and transformers for purchase. They also design and specify instrumentation for purchase and develop wiring systems to interconnect these items with the process control system. Much of this design is carried out utilizing state of the art, three-dimensional modeling systems and other computer aided engineering tools.

Design engineers work in project teams with process engineers, process control engineers, manufacturing, purchasing and construction management personnel to develop, design, construct and support the start-up of process plants and other support facilities on a site and global basis. They may also provide technical consulting to operating facilities in specialized areas.
